About Us

Farming in the Adirondacks

We are a small family owned organic farm in the Adirondack region of upstate NY. Our products include spalted specialty hardwoods, organic wildflower honey, maple syrup, balsam pillows, and organic blueberries, raspberries, and vegetables. The logs for the mill come from the farm making this an environmentally friendly product as they only need to be transported a few hundred yards to the mill, eliminating trucking over long distances.  Salvaged logs from outside the farm are also used. The logs are aged in wet conditions favorable to the fungi which cause the spalting. Pictured here are boxes made of our spalted hard maple by master woodworker Thomas Moser. These are not for sale.  As time allows, I will be adding items for sale.  I’m offering a very limited number of items as the website is new and we are transitioning to on line sales. If you are looking for something other than what I have for sale, call/text or email.  I may have what you are looking for.

Fermented Adirondack Wildflower Honey Coming in 2021.

Natural Raw Honey

Fermented honey is not something you are going to find at your local grocery but is becoming more popular.  Just like our regular wildflower honey, this honey is raw and not processed in any way.  The only difference is that this honey has naturally fermented. This also occurs in the hives sometimes at the end of the nectar season when cool weather sets in before the bees can “cap” the honey in the cells. Fermented honey is only a small part of the total honey in a hive (5% or less). Both types of honey will be available at this site by August 2021. Here is an article about fermented honey. Thank you for visiting our website.
